Susan Boyle, from britain's got talent, is amazing.
not only her voice, but the way she didn't let the audience and judge's doubt affect her. she is such a strong person, and i admire her courage to stand up in front of millions and perform, even though everyone doubted her.
click.

after watching this, i was reminded of how superficial we can be (we, being human beings). there have been countless times i've judged people based on how they appear on the outside, and i regret that...to a certain extent. aha wow..i sound so snobby.
why do we try so hard to look good? like, really, does it even matter? when we're all old, we won't even care what we look like.
do we try to look good for others? or ourselves?
and if we do for others, why do we even care what they think?
so many questionss...

ReplyDelete-first impressions. it's crazy how people put so much weight on that. a lot of people don't take the time to really get to know people, or simply don't care to if the first impression doesn't impress them.
human nature needs attention. people need company to stay sane. i'm glad you're in my company. :)
